Yes, they're really pretty! The design on them is sort of Art Nouveau-ish. I love the dainty oxfords of this time period. You can tell the ones are 60's above w=because they're more clunky.
"Fashion" is not Vogue magazine, designers, or trends. Fashion is and should be an important component of the lives of everyday people, and is an important source of history and culture for women in particular. Clothing is overlooked in history particularly because it has historically been a women's domain, but fashion is art, anthropology, culture, subculture, and part of our everyday lives. We shouldn't fear it, as we have been told to, but be enriched by it! Blah blah blah. Mostly this will be photos of clothing I have found. These photos are not mine. I am borrowing them for use.
