

Check out that marvelous collar! And though it's more humble, the flattering seaming around the bodice. One thing I think is really important to remember with clothing like this is that a woman probably made it by hand. It's astounding how complicated and well-made vintage clothes are; a dress like this is the work of a true artisan. Sometimes I wonder why I don't buy stuff like this when it's on eBay since it's so incredible, but then again, it's hard to justify a collection of things you will probably wear very rarely. That's why I need some money to start a real fashion museum!
