What I like about (most) vintage florals is that, the closer you go the better the pattern looks. They usually maintain a whimsy as opposed to looking old or messy. Just my 2 cents.
I agree- Florals tend to be the most blah print, but vintage florals tend to be in a league of their own-modern ones usually do look cheap and etail-less.
i completely agree with you guys as well. i have no contemporary floral prints in my closet aside from one insanely comfortable 90s dress i never leave the house in... there's something so much classier about vintage floral prints.
and like you said, this dress went for a lot because it could suit so many different people. really contemporary.
